[filtered word]o to those of you visiting the Creep Attack website. As the "thinker" of the Creep Attack Team, my role in the project is essentially to come up with ideas for the game. The idea for Creep Attack came about when myself and The Swedish Tower talked about what makes a good tower defence game on the Towerdefence.net's official IRC channel. This is an extract from the discussion on the topic at the time, that essentially formed the beginnings of the Creep Attack project;
As some of you noticed the site has been very slow and sometimes even game gateway timeouts!
All these problems should be solved as of now as I have changed host. Site should be much faster and gateway timeouts should not happen anymore.
If the site is still slow please let me know!
Creep Attack started 14th November 2009 as a project because The Swedish Tower was bored. He asked the TowerDefence.net IRC channel if there was anyone who had an unique tower defense idea. Masamune come up with the basic idea of creeps (a kind of creature) attacking each other.
Yesterday when I was in school I asked my teacher if I could have Creep Attack as school project. He said it was a good idea and forwarded me to an other teacher. I spoke with him and one again he told me to speak with an other, which was not even there.
Today I spoke with the third teacher. He was interested and wanted to read the description on the site. After he had done that he told me what I had to do to get it approved and that's all! :D
As of today Creep Attack has a website! Here I will post about progress made in Creep Attack as well as screenshots, features and many other things!
